OzGreen Energy's internet energy systems support MeterTrac MCV-18 maxi-circuit power meters.
Data from a meter is only valuable if it can be utilised quickly and easily. The demand for translating data from a meter into useful information has never been more necessary.
As energy/utility costs rise, more types of users need access to the information including engineers, building owners, facility managers, employees, etc. OzGreen Energy makes the challenging task of interpreting and using meter data as easy as possible with cost-effective, plug-and-play hardware platforms.
From very basic kWh-only meters to full-featured electric submeters with current, demand, power factor, etc, our systems can be easily configured. Water, gas, and steam meters are also supported.
Submeters are monitored continually at user-selected intervals ranging from seconds to hours, days, or weeks. Up to 3 years of viewable full sub-metered data from every sub-metering device is stored in secure tier 3 data centers. Monitored data can be retrieved almost instantly and viewed online through any web browser. In addition, OzGreen Energy provides selected reports of the monitored data customised to end-user requirements.
.
Sub-meters are outfitted for wireless communications with OzGreen Energy's Active Data predictive data engines via pulse, serial, or ModBus connection. Installation is simple but must be performed by licensed electricians. Just fit the meter, wrap the Current Transformer (CT) around the power to the desired load, and check that the meter is communicating data.
Up to three loads, or phases, can be monitored for each power circuit and up to 18 circuits can be monitored with on OzGreen Energy MCV-18 wireless power meter. Power for the sub-meter is supplied separately to the loads being monitored to ensure high accuracy and less chance of interference in measuring instruments. The sub-meter automatically streams all measurements taken for the selected time frame.
